About

Todd W. Carpenter is an experienced litigator at Phillips & Associates in New York City, where he represents employees across New York State who have been victims of workplace sexual harassment, discrimination (based on gender, race, age, religion, national origin, and disability), and retaliation.

Before joining Phillips & Associates, Todd ran his own law practice specializing in criminal defense and civil litigation. He also served as a prosecutor at the Putnam County District Attorney’s Office and as the Special Town Prosecutor for the Town of North East in Dutchess County.

Todd holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Syracuse University, where he worked as an engineer in the San Francisco Bay Area and Silicon Valley before transitioning to law. He earned his Juris Doctor from Thomas Jefferson School of Law in San Diego, CA, where he was recognized with pro bono honors for his service to the community throughout law school.

Todd is admitted to practice law in all New York state courts, and federally in the Southern, Eastern, and Northern Districts of New York.
