Seamus Barrett
About
Seamus is a seasoned litigator with over eight years of experience in Federal and State Courts, as well as in administrative agencies such as the EEOC and the New York State Division of Human Rights fighting for the rights of workers who have been victimized by their employers. He has also represented numerous victims of sexual assault and rape, obtaining favorable settlements and judgements in those cases securing millions of dollars on behalf of his clients. Seamus has brought legal proceedings against numerous high-profile individuals, professional athletes, major media companies, financial institutions, airlines, luxury brands, fast food chains, multinational corporations and many other companies in pursuit of justice for the people he represents.
Prior to finishing law school and becoming an attorney, Seamus worked as a post-production audio engineer for major motion pictures and television programs as a member of IATSE Local 700, Motion Picture Editors Guild, and has worked with his family’s winery in Northern California. While in law school, Seamus worked as a Student-Attorney in his law school’s mediation clinic mediating cases pro-bono in Queens County Court, Civil Term, in Jamaica, Queens.
