About
Nicole is a highly motivated and dedicated Paralegal with a Bachelor of Science in Forensic Psychology, a minor in Criminology, from CUNY John Jay College of Criminal Justice, where she was consistently recognized on the Dean’s List throughout their undergraduate studies. During her academic career, she was also an active member of Chi Alpha Epsilon, an honor society for first-generation college students.
Before joining Phillips & Associates, Nicole gained invaluable experience as an Administrative Assistant at a mental health clinic, where she translated vital information between Spanish-speaking families and counselors, helping bridge cultural and language barriers. She assisted with patient intake, scheduled appointments, and supported counselors by ensuring that both youth and their families fully understood treatment plans, resources, and therapeutic goals.
Nicole began as a Legal Intake Specialist at Phillips & Associates, where her strong interest and dedication to personal growth were quickly recognized, leading to a promotion to Paralegal. In her current role, she provides essential support to the legal team by conducting research, drafting legal documents, managing case files, and assisting with trial preparation, ensuring efficient and effective case management. Fluent in both English and Spanish, Nicole can bridge communication gaps and offer enhanced service to clients from diverse backgrounds. Additionally, she has extensive familiarity with PACER, Microsoft Windows, and Adobe, ensuring efficiency and precision in her work.
