Mr. Trinidad Lira is a passionate litigator who believes strongly in civil rights and fairness in the workplace. He has litigated numerous cases in federal and state court and regularly represents employees in cases involving discrimination and retaliation claims under laws such as Title VII, the Americans with Disabilities Act, the New York State Human Rights Law, the New York City Human Rights Law, and New York’s Whistleblower statute. Mr. Trinidad Lira’s extensive experience also includes resolving matters through mediation and other alternative dispute resolution methods, where he often secures favorable outcomes for his clients without the need for prolonged litigation.
Prior to joining Phillips & Associates, Mr. Trinidad Lira completed his undergraduate degree at Fordham University. Mr. Trinidad Lira went on to attend Seton Hall University School of Law, where he served as a student attorney for the Immigrants' Rights/ International Human Rights Clinic at the Center for Social Justice. Mr. Trinidad Lira also served as a Judicial Intern for the Honorable John Michael Vazquez at the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey.
