About

Ian N. Piasecki is an employment attorney for Phillips & Associates and an advocate for employees wronged by their employers.

Early in his legal career, Ian clerked for the Honorable Gary D. Wodlinger, J.S.C. (Ret.) in the Superior Court of New Jersey, Family Division. Before joining Phillips & Associates, Ian gained valuable experience in private practice working for law firms practicing workers compensation, personal injury, toxic tort, insurance law, commercial litigation, real estate, Americans with Disability Act litigation and more. His wide array of practice experience for both plaintiffs and defendants gives him valuable inside knowledge with which to analyze the industries in which his clients and their employers work.

Based on Ian’s recent work, he was recognized and nominated by his peers to Super Lawyer’s 2024 New York Metro Super Lawyers, Rising Star list. Super Lawyers is a rating service of outstanding lawyers from more than 70 practice areas who have attained a high degree of peer recognition and professional achievement. The Rising Stars list is an honor reserved for those lawyers who exhibit excellence in practice. Only 2.5% of attorneys in the New York Metro receive this distinction.

Ian graduated from Saint Joseph’s University with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science in 2013. He graduated from Rutgers University Law School with a Juris Doctor in 2016. He is admitted to practice law in New York, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania, along with admissions to the federal courts of the Southern District of New York, Eastern District of New York, District of New Jersey, and the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.

Ian is committed to being a passionate advocate for those in need of a voice, especially those who face discrimination and mistreatment in the workplace.
